Eric Gill and Kimberly Goforth, principals of Goforth Gill Architects, have designed a wide range of architectural projects including single and multi-family residential, commercial, and public building types. These projects include the construction of new buildings, remodels and additions to existing facilities, and the renovation of historic and landmark structures. Both principals, each with more than 25 years of experience, have masters’ degrees in Architecture, are registered architects in the State of Washington, and are members of the American Institute of Architects, Built Green, and the Eco Building Guild.

Established in 1992, the firm has been recognized in several publications including; Northwest Home + Garden / AIA Home of the Month, Fine Homebuilding, and in Seattle Magazine as one of the Top 50 Northwest Architects in both 2008 and in 2009.

The underlying theme throughout our work is the creation of architecture that becomes an integral part of its context. We design structures that grow out of a collaborative process and an examination of the site; the unique natural conditions and the particular historical and cultural context. We emphasize the use of natural materials and products that appeal to the visual and tactile senses. The desires of our clients are translated into architecture that is a coherent, aesthetically pleasing whole; providing a sustainable, comfortable fit for the owner, the environment and the community.

We seek to provide exceptional service to our clients while creating outstanding architecture. Our small size gives us the advantage of being able to provide participation by a principal of the firm throughout the design and construction of your project. We provide design services at all levels of client involvement and can tailor our participation to suit individual needs. We have experience with master planning, phased construction, and owner built projects.
